Erik Andersson, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Andersson is from Washington State. He obtained a biology and Spanish degree from Pacific Lutheran University and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the esteemed Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.

Following graduation, he spent the next four years associating in the Seattle, Washington area. Looking for a more rural community in which to raise their young family, the  Anderssons moved to Hohenwald, Tennessee in late 2010.

Dr. Andersson studies the newest and best modalities of care and treatment for his patients in restoring teeth, oral surgery, implants, crown/bridge, and pediatric care. "I really enjoy dentistry and strive to give my patients straightforward answers and solutions to their dental needs."

When Dr. Andersson is not practicing his passion in dentistry, he is dedicated to spending time with his beautiful wife, Sherri and children, Valentina, Giovanna, Carmela, and Manuel. 

Ronald Hallmark, DDS

Dentist

Ronald Dale Hallmark was born in Moulton, Lawrence County, Alabama, Ron's family moved to Memphis with their mom, dad, and sister when he was two years old. He grew up in the Memphis suburban and rural surrounding area. Education included school in Memphis and Horn Lake, Mississippi, then college in Mississippi and Memphis. Ron graduated from pharmacy school and practiced pharmacy during his continuing education at UTHSC Memphis. Dr. Hallmark started private dental practice at Hallmark Dental in January of 1977 in Germantown, Tennessee. Hallmark Dental was moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1994. Ron has two children as well as an extended family of two stepchildren, and four (soon to be five) grandchildren, along with his wife, Beth. Ron is semi-retired from Hallmark Dental and enjoys helping out in the middle-Tennessee area filling in at Wellness Family Dentistry and other dental healthcare locations. Ron and Beth like to travel, but usually stay close to home where they garden and tend their farm chores on their country farm in Williamson County, Tennessee.

Rusty Abernathy, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Abernathy was born and raised in Pulaski, Tn. He received his Undergraduate education at Middle Tennessee State University in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN

Dr. Abernathy has been trained and practiced in all facets of General Dentistry including,

Oral Surgery, Implants, Restorative Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, Periodontal Surgery, and Orthodontics.

When time allows, He enjoys fishing, flying, and building projects. Dr. Abernathy has two children, Andy Abernathy and Libby Cross. With 5 Grandchildren , Cooper Abernathy, Brooks Abernathy, Hayes Abernathy, Chandler Cross and Peyton Cross.

Cameron Baker, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Baker was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee.  After attending Middle Tennessee State University to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he moved to Memphis, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in 2017.  He is a member of numerous dental associations, including the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

After graduation, Dr. Baker moved back to Middle Tennessee area to be close to his family.  He strives to not only provide his patients with quality dental care, but a lasting friendship.

In his spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his wife Paige, their son Owen, and their goldendoodle Riley.  In the coming months Dr. Baker and his wife will welcome another baby boy to their family!

Priscilla Costa, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Priscilla Costa is Brazilian-American. She studied the first year of medical school in Bolivia. She then graduated from Dentistry and Orthodontics in Brazil, where she developed her clinic and worked for eleven years.

She came to the US and attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. She translated the quarterly newsletter from the National Association of Seventh-Day Adventist Dentists, for the SDA Global Health Conferences, for the Brazilian SDA Dental School, participated in local missions and to Mexico, Honduras, Thailand. She is honored with a volunteer faculty license to continue helping with dental missionary work.

She practiced family dentistry and orthodontics in California for six years. In her free time, she enjoys family, friends, driving from Mexico to Canada, visiting national parks, the California Redwoods and the blue Pacific Ocean, the snowy mountains, the frequent hikes, and being part of the community of Native-Americans, Spanish, Portuguese, and English speakers.

She joins her colleague Dr. Andersson with his skilled and loving team in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Costa looks forward to meeting our patients, explore Tennessee’s outdoor scene, learn agriculture, and keep healthy smiles for its friendly, kind, musical, and faithful people!

Stephanie Fleming

Accounts Manager

Stephanie, who was born and raised in Hohenwald, joined Well Family Dentistry in 2017. She loves working with patients and has always enjoyed the field of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring outdoors, reading, and baking.

Cheryl Guckert

Scheduling Coordinator

Cheryl is a recent transplant to Lawrence County from So. California.  Her longtime career has been front office customer care in the dental field.  She enjoys helping patients and making it a great experience in our office.  She loves being part of our wonderful team.  Outside the office, Cheryl stays busy making memories with her husband Jim, children and grandchildren.  Also is a member of the Church of Christ.

Jessica Whitten, RDA

Scheduling Coordinator

Jessica is a Lawrenceburg native but married and moved to Wayne County.  She attended Tennessee Technology Center and received her Dental Assistant license in 2007 and has been in the dental field ever since!  She loves putting a smile on everyone's face and taking care of those in need.  In her free time, Jessica loves spending time with her family, traveling, UT football, and serving at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. 

Holly Hinson, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Holly is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a graduate of Lewis Co. High School, class of 2008. Holly attended Wallace State Community College, earning her degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in Lewis county and attends church with her family at Flatrock Church of Christ. In her spare time, Holly enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing and going to the races.

Kristin Bryson, RDA

Scheduling Coordinator

Kristin graduated from Collinwood high school in 2006, then completed the dental assistant program in 2008. She worked her way into management 5 years ago and strive every day to learn more. She has 3 beautiful children and a loving husband, Jimmy. Kristin enjoys sports, outdoors, and also being active her church.

Victoria Stricklin, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Victoria is originally from Somerville, but moved to Waynesboro with her husband and daughter in 2005. She is passionate about dental hygiene and loves giving people not only the confidence to smile but also help in maintaining that healthy, happy smile. In her free time, Victoria loves fishing, boating on the river, hunting, and camping.

Stacey Tanner

Scheduling Coordinator

Stacey joined the Wellness Family Dentistry team after 10 years of nursing. She graduated from Lewis County High School and then from Tennessee College of Applied Technology with her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Stacey enjoys interacting with people and playing a role in rural health, not only in the medical aspect but in total wellness. She loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She and her husband, Bobby, are off-road enthusiasts and enjoy spending time outdoors. 

Mary Beth Snider, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Mary Beth graduated from Lawrence County High School and attended Tennessee State University where she earned a degree in Allied Health Science; Dental Hygiene.  Outside of work, Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her family and is a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.

Megan Holt, RDA

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Megan is originally from Hickman county and moved to Lawrence county in 2015.  She graduated from Dental Staff School of Tennessee in 2013.  Megan loves dentistry and utilizing her creativity to bring healthy smiles to our patients.  She truly gives patients her best effort and loves to put them at ease.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors, being adventurous, and making memories with her three beautiful children- Carson, Emily, and Wiley.

Zoiee Robertson, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Zoiee graduated from Collinwood High School in 2017 and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College where she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2020. She is passionate about educating patients on their oral health. Zoiee enjoys making memories with her family, friends, and husband, Ty. She also loves snuggling with her Golden Doodle, Ruger. Zoiee is a member of Millrock Freewill Baptist Church and a character coach for the Collinwood High School Cheerleaders through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She loves the opportunity she has been given to tell others about Jesus.

Logan Blood

Scheduling Coordinator

Logan grew up in the Ozarks of southern Missouri and moved to Tennessee in 2020.  She enjoys learning and growing in various career paths particularly associated with logistical coordinating and helping people.  Sending cheerfulness and bringing a smile to those she interacts with is a life motto she strives to live by.  In her spare time, Logan enjoys cooking, crafting, being outdoors and especially loves spending time with her family, her two minature dachshunds, friends and family.

Jo Anna McGuire, RDH

Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist

Jo Anna attended Remington College in Nashville, TN.  There she obtained an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has certifications in local anesthesia, soft tissue laser, nitrous oxide administration, and expanded function in composite filling placement.  Jo Anna has completed additional coursework in East Tennessee State University BSDH program.  Jo Anna resides in Wayne County, TN.  Outside the office, she enjoys being home with her family.  

Callie Sharp, RDA

Scheduling Coordinator

Callie was raised in Hohenwald and obtained her Dental Assistant license from Dental Staff School of Tennessee in 2021.  She finds joy in making others happy, especially being comfortable with their smile.  She is passionate about photography and loves to photograph families when she isn't working at Wellness Family Dentistry.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and her husband, Carmen, her dog Quavo, going to the river, fishing, working in her garden and anything outside.  

Shannon Watkins, RDA

Dental Assistant

Originally from Perry County, Shannon received her training from the Dental Staff School of Tennessee. She loves helping her patients feel better about their smiles and in her free time, enjoys spending time with her children.

Addison Hinson, RDA

Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Addison is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.  She graduated from Lewis County High School in the class of 2020.  Immediately following high school, Addison attended the Dental Staff School of Tennessee to earn her RDA.  After a little over a year of being an RDA, Addison completed her expanded restorative functions certificate at the University of Tennessee Memphis Health Science Center.  She was raised in Lewis County and attends church with her family at the Little Swan Church of Christ.  In her free time, Addison enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her puppy, Rosco.

Caitlin Dotson, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Caitlin attended Northeast Mississippi Community College where she obtained an associate degree in dental Hygiene in 2011.  Caitlin's favorite part of her job is providing patients with the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile!  She loves getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships.  She was born and raised in Collinwood, TN, and still resides there with her husband, Anthony, and two daughters, Aven and Briar Ann.

Whitley Floyd, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Born and raised in Hohenwald, Whitley received her training from the Remington College School of Dental Hygiene. Whitley uses her talents to help patients at the front desk. You will surely see her smile as she welcomes you in. She enjoys working with the rest of the dental team, meeting new people, and educating them on the importance of oral hygiene. In her free time, Whitley loves to spend time with her husband and sons, exercising, and attending her local church.

Chelsea Smith, RDA

Dental Assistant

Chelsea completed her dental assisting certification in 2009 and has been in the dental field working as an assistant ever since.  She genuinely enjoys helping people with their dental needs and giving them their best smile possible.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her children, Abby and Brecken.  She is a sports enthusiast, loves being outside, and active in her church.
 

Katelyn Cloyd, RDA

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Katelyn is truly a hometown girl, being born and raised in Hohenwald, TN. Katelyn graduated from Lewis County High School in 2008.  She then went on to complete the dental assistant program at Chattanooga State Community College in Chattanooga, TN, graduating from there in 2010. Katelyn has worked at Wellness Family Dentistry since 2011.  Since then she has received her expanded functions duties and very much enjoys the hands-on aspects of the job. She, her husband, Matt, and their children, reside in Hohenwald. Her family attends Central Christian Fellowship. Katelyn enjoys spending time with family, friends, attending the local sporting events and meeting new people.

Stacey Rich, RDH

Accounts Manager/Expanded Function Dental Hygienist

Stacey graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Allied Health Sciences; Dental Hygiene in 2006. Since then, she has enjoyed expanding her knowledge and experience in many areas of the dental field. She enjoys her ability to serve the community on a daily basis, to promote health and wellness. She also enjoys creating a lasting relationship with patients. Outside of the office, Stacey spends time with her husband, Jason, and three sons Harrison, Bennett, and Ty Elliott. They enjoy staying active in her church and community. 

Rhonda Wix, RDH

Expanded Functions Dental Hygienist

Rhonda Wix is a small town girl from Hohenwald, TN who fell in love with dentistry.  She has developed her skills in dentistry from a sterilization tech to an expanded function dental hygienist.  Since earning a dental hygiene degree at North East in Booneville, MS she has continued to add credentials and certificates to her skill set.  These include local anesthetic administration, restorative expanded function, and prosthetic expanded function.  She is determined to help her patients by ongoing dental continuing education.  Rhonda takes pride in being part of an exceptional team of dental professionals devoted to dental disease prevention and improvement of dental health in the community.  When Rhonda is not brushing teeth she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son.

Morgan Humphreys, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Morgan is from Hohenwald, TN.  She graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene and is certified in administration and monitoring nitrous oxide. She has been with the practice for one and a half years and the favorite part of her work is being with people and developing relationships with her patients. When not at work, Morgan loves to spend time with her husband and son at the creek. She also enjoys beekeeping!
